Madonna for Dolce&Gabbana by Steven Klein
The first images of the Dolce & Gabbana campaign featuring Madge were published in Vanity Fair Italia. As was told earlier by the designers the atmosphere of the photos would be inspired on the authentic Medittarenean/Sicilian heritage and Italian neorealism cinema, very ‘in sync’ with the collection. We must say we really like the picture of Madge obviously enjoying a plate of freshmade spaghetti…Yummm!
But it’s especially the intimate feel of the pictures. Everybody is used to see Madonna as a strong, independant career-woman, so to see this side of her washing up the dishes, and peeling onions, shows that being a domestic godess suits her very well!
